The CIO Bundle pricing is based on the size of the organization, the complexities of the current environment and the maturing of the organizations use of information systems and technology.
Factors that impact the initial signing and annual fee are:
- Number of employees
- Number of desktops
- Number of separate information systems used to manage business
- Number of physical locations
- Number of vendors who perform support of systems and technology
- Existence and age of the following documents:
- Business strategy, goals and objectives
- Technology strategic plan
- Technology tactical plan
- Disaster recovery plan
- Asset Management plan
- Upgrade strategy
- Business process map
- Number of active projects
- Number of hours expected each week to maintain environment
- Time frame desired to complete the overall plans and strategies
Organization Example 1; $45-60,000 a year contract
- Eight staff employees with desktops, telephones
- One server, simple nightly backup solution
- One physical location
- Simple telephony solution
- Simple Ethernet network
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools, Sales tool, Accounting Software and a variety of point software solutions based on the business process need. Most are provided based on a supplier relationship.
- One outside service provide to support network and telephones
- Simple business plan with no other plans
- One active project
- One hour week meeting with management; one hour a week meeting with vendors, accountants, auditors and outside individuals on services
